What is this accreditation?
Awarded by the French national agency for the assessment and quality of social and medico-social establishments and services (ANESM), after checking the exhaustiveness of the application, this accreditation is the necessary administrative authorisation to conduct external assessments on the activities and the quality of services provided by establishments and services referred to in article L.312-1 of the Family and Social Action Code (CASF).
It is formalised by the sending of an accreditation certificate.
It only concerns the external assessment.
It is non-transferable and for an indefinite period.
It is valid throughout France.

Legal framework for external assessment (art. L.312-8 CASF).
• The activities and quality of the services delivered by establishments and services are assessed by an external organisation..
• The results of this assessment are sent to the authority which awarded the authorisation.
• Accredited organisations must comply with a specification set by decree (no. 2007-975 of 15th May 2007). The list of these organisations is drawn up by ANESM.
