Socrates' role is to "manage skills and promote ethics in professional practices". Socrates is a Human Resources consultancy offering surveys, training and assessments, based in Annecy-le-Vieux (Rhône-Alpes).

Socrates supports its clients by focusing on three key areas:
1. Advice on creating content/reference systems (for ethics or skills).
2. The set-up of online assessment systems.
3. Support in implementing action or training plans.

Socrates has also developed two product families: Eval’éthique® and Eval’competence®.
